I’m a writer based in NYC and originally from rural Nebraska. My focus is on magical realism and western fiction. Some of my favorite books are Butcher’s Crossing by John Williams, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, and A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway.

I’m currently a MFA candidate at Columbia University. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and History from Columbia University. In addition to Columbia University, I’ve studied creative writing at the Iowa Writers Workshop Summer Sessions.
